Meet the Woman Behind Kay Freedom

Kayla Lee-Davis built Kay Freedom Consulting around one belief: building something is only half the job.
You also have to know how to protect it.
After years of working inside Human Resources, Kayla saw the same challenge repeatedly. Businesses were growing, teams were expanding, but the systems meant to support that growth were often being built after problems appeared instead of before.
Outside of business, she recognized something just as important. Families work incredibly hard to build stability, yet many are one unexpected event away from watching that stability change.
Kay Freedom Consulting brings those two worlds together.
With a background spanning strategic HR leadership, recruiting, employee relations, compliance, workforce operations and insurance, Kayla helps business owners build stronger companies while helping individuals and families make informed decisions about protecting what matters most.
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership, Kayla created Kay Freedom to provide something bigger than another consulting service or insurance transaction.
A stronger foundation for what you're building and a plan to protect it.
“I believe building something is only half the job. You also have to protect what you've built.”
We prioritize education before pressure. Our recommendations are practical and grounded in your actual business situation, ensuring clarity and confidence at every step.
Building long-term relationships is at the heart of our work. We treat every client as a partner, providing the strategic guidance needed to navigate growth and stability.
